In December 1997, Kerry founded 5th Avenue Hair & Beauty Spa, a business that has grown into a trusted and established salon now celebrating its 28th year of successful operation. Her dedication to excellence and people development has earned her the Bedfordshire Business Woman of the Year award and a reputation as a mentor and leader within the local community

Passionate about nurturing future talent, Kerry has consistently supported education and employment. She has delivered career talks, trained college students into permanent salon roles, offered work experience placements, and opened her business to support SEND children by providing training in hair and beauty treatment. Since opening the salon, Kerry has supported local employment by employing almost 150 people, helping many begin long and successful careers.

In June 2025, Kerry expanded her entrepreneurial journey by completing her mandatory and ABTA training to become an Independent Travel Agent. Built on trust and exceptional customer care, she booked 25 holidays in her first 11 weeks, giving clients peace of mind through ABTA and Atol protection. Kerry can arrange every type of travel experience - from luxury and family holidays to concerts, sporting events, and Formula 1 trips - with access to over 90 suppliers to suit every budget.

Kerry's passion for Bedford runs deep. She has served as Vice Chair of Bedford BID, sat on the Board of Directors for Bedford College Services, and was President of Bedfordshire Businesswomen, a not for profit networking organisation. During her presidency, the group raised an impressive £23,000 for Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice. She continues to give back through local fundraising initiatives, donating her time and vouchers to support vital community causes.
